A while back, I wrote about retiring old stories – ‘Memoirs vs Kondo-ing your history’ – and talked about how, once a story has served its purpose, it can be good to let it go and move on.
I’ve made some pretty big strides professionally in recent times, and also had some other past endeavours pop up in my memories feed.
This has prompted me to write more about what’s driven me over the course of my career and life in general, and quite a lot of that motivation was down to having been deflected from my intended path early on, before I really got started:

Past Lyndsey (who wasn’t even called Lyndsey back then) felt she had a lot to prove.
Finally, I think I can say that current Lyndsey has given her that proof.
Finally, I think it’s time to let past Lyndsey rest and let current and future Lyndsey forge ahead, and clear a new path unencumbered.
